Olympic & Power Lifting



CFP Olympic and Power Lifting focuses on instructing and improving technical execution of the Olympic lifts (snatch, clean & jerk) and fundamental power lifting movements (dead lift, squat).

The training is designed to improve the following:

  • Technique
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Explosiveness
  • Overall strength

Each session will include proper skill progression, technical coaching, and lifting weight.

The training is designed to improve technique, power, speed, explosiveness, coordination and overall strength. Each session will include proper skill progression, technical coaching, and lifting weight.

These lifts are complex and individuals attending the training session should expect to:

  • Improve technique and form when executing the Olympic lifts (snatch, clean & jerk) and Power lifts
  • Increase overall strength, power, speed, and explosiveness
  • Learn progressive drills and exercises required to improve performance
  • Improve WOD and sports performance (Grace, Isabel, and Linda)

The Olympic and Power Lifting program is scalable allowing us to meet the needs of all individuals, regardless of experience level. Post training exercises will be prescribed to further reinforce proper technique and practice.

CFP Olympic lifting and Power Lifting sessions are open to CFP members (no cost) and non-members ($20 per class / or punch card)

Prerequisite: Foundations and CFP Olympic lifting clinic (4 sessions)
